The Secret History

So I finished reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt today. I’m honestly not sure if I liked it. I just kind of feel a bit blah after finishing it.

The book felt really long, partly because I spent the entire first half of the book waiting for Bunny to die and then the book just dragged on and on.

**Spoilers** The ending did kind of surprise me, I really don’t like overly predictable books where I know the ending before its happened, although I kind of ruined the Camilla loves Henry thing for myself last night on tumblr. I really did not realise Henry was about to shoot himself in the head. I did not like how Charles just ran off and disappeared into thin air or how Richard never contacts his parents ever again.

Overall. I guess I liked the book, it was interesting, but there were some things that I don’t think were explained properly. 

I also do not like books where the characters start speaking a different language and it’s not translated into English. How am I supposed to know what they’re sayingggggg?
